Veranstaltungstyp: Vorlesung Beschreibung: We will introduce you into selected topics of human genetic, molecular biology of the cell, molecular pathology as well as molecular and experimental oncology. Within this module we will support you in further extending your understanding and knowledge in molecular processes in cells leading to pathological changes within cells and respective tissues/organs. You will get familiar with selected tools, concepts and methods of cell biology, pathology, oncology and human genetics. In addition, you will discuss to some extend diseases as a result of inflammatory and cancerous changes, as well as mechanisms behind these changes. Furthermore, you will be able to describe causes and outcome of changes in genetic and cellular processes by using typical examples and to deduce basic pathological, genetic and cell biological mechanisms.
