Population Genomics

Beschreibung: The course will include a mixture of lectures on population genetic and population genomic principles and possible analyses. This will be combined with computational analyses on a test dataset as well as discussions on how to interpret published population genomic results.

The aim of the course is to obtain a basic understanding of the underlying concepts of population biology and microevolutionary processes. Further the course should give a hands-on method training on how to conduct population genomic analyses to answer microevolutionary questions.
