Research interests
My PhD project is embedded in the F.R.A.N.Z. project, which aims to enhance biodiversity within intensively used agricultural landscapes. One focus of F.R.A.N.Z is to develop and test conservation measures in close cooperation between farmers and researchers and based on these results provide policy advice.
I am interested in the potential of flower strips to promote ecosystem services in the adjacent cereal fields. My research is focused on the pollination of arable weeds and biological pest control of aphids and cereal leaf beetles.
