* Getting started with a simple simulation
* Multiphysics modeling

Aims:

* Overview of the software and it"s key features
* To be able to model simple problems and extract important data

 

Schedule

* Day 1
* Simplifying a real physics problem and choosing a modeling approach
* Building the geometry, adding physics, meshing, and post processing
* Progressively complicating the model by using multiphysics
* Day 2
* Different problems will be considered to get familiar with different physics modules
* Advanced geometries and meshing
* Overview of the solver

Methods

* Practical course at the computer terminals
* Hands on programming
